MML U-17
set for Gators tourney to end season
Flint--The U-17
Mid-Michigan Lakers will end their 2008 season at the Ohio
Gators Classic in Toledo, Ohio at the end of the
month.
Coming on the heels of an
impressive performance in pool play at the Hoosier Shootout
in Indianapolis this week, the Lakers looks to.jpg)
finish the season strong.
One new wrinkle for the Lakers
is the addition of Coach Paul Thwing. The veteran youth
basketball coach will be taking over the reins for Jim Pope,
who will be in Memphis for a mission trip.
Room for
one, two or three
Since the MML U-17 team is
down to seven players for this tournament, there are up
to three spots available for U-16 players to fill. If
you are interested in trying to earn one of these spots, you
should, if possible, be at practice Monday night at Mott.

College and surrounding sites
When: July 28-31
Who: Ryan Schultz,
Danny Thwing, Torey LaFerney, Brian Sheridan, Demetrius
Miller, DeQuan "Freaky" Horn, Kevin Pickens and up to three
