Overview
At first blush, Dequan doesn’t look like like a prototype slasher/scorer at the high school level; but, his rail-thin physique belies a tough player with serious game. He projects as a next-level drive-and-dish point guard but for now he is a flashy scorer who can finish in traffic. He possesses excellent handles and the accompanying court vision to lead a team in transition, but he also is an athletic slasher that can get to the basket in the halfcourt and throw it down on the break. His long arms and quick feet make him good on defense as well. Horn is still growing into his body and, once he becomes more consistent as a shooter on the perimeter, should become one of the top guards to come out of the Genesee Area Conference in the past several years.
