Overview

Few point guards are smarter than Russell. He is a coach on the floor. Excellent court vision with a quick shot release more than make up for his lack of size on the offensive end. Defensively, he has a knack for stealing the basketball and is stronger than he looks. His three-point shot is much improved this season. He is a playmaker on both ends of the floor.


High School

Started as a freshman on varsity and was instrumental right away for one of the best Swartz Creek teams in years…as a sophomore he led Swartz Creek to a second place finish in the Flint Metro Conference...led the Dragons to another second place finish in the Metro League as a junior.

Maintains a 3.6 GPA...a member of the baseball team.
