Overview
A complete player, Sanders can score the
basketball both off the dribble and off screens. He has quick feet and good instincts
on defense, especially in the passing lanes. This lefty is a match-up nightmare
for opposing guards with his quick feet and even quicker dribble. He is one of
the top 3-point shooters in the program.
High School
Varsity player as a freshman
at Flint Powers Catholic Central. As a sophomore, Sanders aided the Chargers in
their run to the state class B championship game. In April 2008, Sanders
averaged 24.5 points per game in five games at the GR Storm tournament in Grand
Rapids. He had games of 30 and 24 against the West Michigan Lakers and Michigan
Mustangs, respectively.
